Rick Menefee prototype hunter. This is a larger version of the Dale Howe design called the "Bumblebee". I think it bears a strong influence in apperance and ergonomics from the popular Grohmann/Bark River Canadian Special bowback design.3/16" 154CM is deeply hollow ground to a crazy razor edge and has a high satin finish. If you've handled any of Rick's work you know he is a master of making slicers and this one is no different. Full tang is tapered. The handles are high grade carbon fiber with thin red liners and stainless pins. 8.25" overall length. The blade measures 3 ¾" to the handle with a 3 ¼" cutting edge. It is stamped "Proto" opposite the mark side. High quality saddle leather sheath by Larry Parsons. It is right hand vertical carry.
I am selling this knife because soon after I puchased it, another from Rick became available that I wanted more so I bought that one. As much as I'd like to I can't keep both. It is dead mint. Never used, never carried.
