Rick Menefee Sowbelly Trapper with Green Canvas Micarta handles. I have also heard this knife referred to as Rick's "Wichita Trapper". This is Rick's first build of this pattern which is indicated by the zero on the tang.
I am the second owner and I was told that the knife was never used, carried, or sharpened by the original owner. I have carried the knife a total of 3 days but it shows no signs of wear. Blades are scratch free and never resharpened.
3 11/16 inches closed.
154CM blade steel.
Backsprings are flush in open, closed, and half stop positions.
Both blades are centered when closed.
Blade pull on each blade is about a 5 on the pull scale. Real nice action on both blades.
Backsprings are gap free and seamless as shown in the pic.
There is a small black spot on the pile side handle that I have not been able to remove. There is also an imperfection on the mark side handle at the butt end. Both of these imperfections were on the knife when I received it about 10 months ago. They can be seen in the last two photos.
