I purchased this Swayback directly from Rick around a year ago. It was occasionally carried and lightly used, the only sign of which being a few very light scuffs and a tiny hairline scratch (too superficial to feel with a fingernail) on the polished stainless bolster that would easily buff right out. The blade and scales are blemish-free.
Cryo'd 154 CM blade ground thin on a 14" wheel.
3 5/8" closed, 6 3/8" OAL. 2.8oz.
Book-matched fancy Ironwood burl scales with a pinned stainless shield and stainless liners.
Nice strong spring that's still very nail-friendly; the action is smooth 'n' snappy with zero blade play.
No gap between the spring and liners or around the shield.
Flush backspring open, closed and at the halfstop.
Nail nick grind and placement are excellent.
The blade has Rick's first hand-rubbed satin finish and it's a little uneven in spots, but decent overall.
I've tried to capture the condition of the bolster here. The arrow indicates the superficial hairline:
I'm looking for $350.00 $330.00 Sold! including USPS Priority shipping with delivery confirmation. No PayPal fee with their no-cost "personal gift" payment option. ConUS only. No trades, please. I'll be happy to answer any questions or provide additional high rez photos if needed.
Thanks for looking!
