Riddle me this

Does anyone have a pocket clip for a Paul defender for sale ? I called Benchmade they told me they have no parts for Paul knives so much for a lifetime warranty .

I'd deal with the issues, if I knew how. I sent it back to the company, who sharpened it and sent it back. They say there's nothing wrong with it. I can't argue that point, but it just isn't for me......btw, aren't you pretty quick to judge?

To the OP. I am going to give you my unbiased, take it for what it's worth opinion here: take it easy man. :) Throttle it down just a touch. You have come to us with an issue, several folks here have tried to offer you help. Without any pictures, or any of us actually examining your knife, this is difficult to assess. We are all trying to help. Then you tell us that you want to trade the knife off instead of fixing it or getting to the bottom of the issue. Many of us here buy, sell, and trade with one another frequently. A statement like that just comes off wrong to many folks here.

Friendly advise Sir: slow down and let some knowledgeable folks here help you. If you want to have a long, fun time here on BF's, just tone it down. You'll see, we are here to help you. Posts like yours will have you gone before we can help. :)

johnnail,

I read every comment that you posted and didn't see anything out of line. There was some confusion about selling a "bad" knife, but now we know it was sent in and is just fine. Sorry some are so quick to go for the throat. There was a recent post were a mod stepped in and apologized for members being unwelcoming. If you get treated poorly very often, then you won't even come here "for all the knowledgeable advice" that's offered. Some regulars forget what it was like being new an forget their manners also. (Think how most high school kids treat the new kid.)

Anyways.....Welcome, best luck getting it all sorted out. Good advice was shared and you have some options now.

Miata.net has some really rude high post counters too. Mods there also have to extend the olive branch sometimes. (This is my other favorite site!)

Thanks for that Honed. At 67, it's pretty hard to offend me. I was just trying to find out how to offer it for sale/trade, not to get advice how to fix a problem that is apparently only an issue to me. One of the problems with the Internet, is user anonymity, and a simple lack of understanding our own language. We tend to be a bit overbearing.
I will simply give this knife to someone for his birthday. I have already replaced it with a nice Case lockback trapper.... Which holds an edge just fine, thank you.

Relax everyone, I will not visit here again
