i got an infraction for typing WTF in a thread that already had the fully used , expliciit S word in it?

this is abuse of power and targeting
 
You are responsible for your own actions regardless of those of anyone else. "Well he did it first" didn't ( or doesn't as the case may be) work on the kindergarten playground and it doesn't work here either.

If you think that someone else's post violates the rules, then click on the report icon for that post and report it. But do not see it as a license for you to violate the rules yourself.

Abreviations and replacing characters with punctuation marks do not turn inappropriate language into acceptable posts. Learn to make your point or express yourself without those words.

Keep in mind that this is a public forum site open for everyone to view. The general public will form opinions about the knife community -- about all knife owners and enthusiasts -- based on what they read here. We want to give a good impression.

really not my fault america has about ten times the gun deaths australia does , yet you don`t want gun control , because that would infringe on your rights

i will soon be banned anyway , because while your constitution states free speach is legal , this does not apply to BF.com

The population of Australia is about 21.2 million. The population of the United States is over 307 million. To say that the US has ten times as many of anything as Australia is an invalid comparison.

No, it's not "beside the point." If you think that a post deserves an infraction, report that post and then allow the moderators to evaluate it. You can't expect the moderators to read your mind.

I was going to post the same thing with the additional comment that, if what zombie_killer has said is true, Australia actually has a higher rate of gun violence per member of it's population than does the USA.
 
its called having a sense of humour.
btw the ten times thing was only a rough estimate. please don`t shoot me or declare war on my country
 
Your complaining about a paltry 1 point 10 day infraction and your argument is “I broke the rules, but other people broke the rules so they should just pretend I didn’t pretend that I didn’t do anything wrong and stop picking on me”...And you call the infraction ridiculous?
 
I've been on BF for many, many years but admittedly spend more time on some of the other knife related forums. I hope it's ok to ask this question. Is it really against the rules to use adult language,,whether abbreviated or not?
