I can't say that i've seen a finer Primos than that. Great picture as Coop's always are.

A beautiful knife , made by a true gentleman....and Coop is da man on the camera:)

Superb bowie! Outstanding. I have a cool fighter by Terry that I'll post when I get a minute but I think yours takes the prize.

Nice and pointy.
Finest example of a Primos as I've had the pleasure of viewing.
The framed handle and top grind, along with the Damascus and choice handle,do it for me.
Coops image!? Well. You know. :D

Pete,
Thanks for posting the new photo. I'm so glad that you like it. It will soon bee 14 years since I sold my first knife. I was never satisfied, and this one is no exception. I always thought that there was something that I could have done better. But this one was close to pleasing me. It is one of my favorites.

I spent a huge amount of time drawing and redrawing every piece of it, then trying to make what I'd drawn. I believe that this one was my first frame handles. It was Steve Dunn who first taught me how to do frame handles when I spent a week working with him in his shop in Smith's Grove, Kentucky. I believe that was in April of 1998, and it was a few years after that I felt confident enough to even try it.

I made the Damascus in Jerry Fisk's shop back when he lived in Lockesburg. I remember it well. Jerry had just purchased his high dollar air hammer and he wouldn't let anyone near it. I think I was one of maybe three people in the world he would allow to use the thing back then. :D

The day I was making the billet that this knife was made from, Jerry was back up at his house playing on his computer. I remember thinking that either he had a great deal of confidence in me, or he just couldn't stand to watch. All went well and the rest is history.
