Is there anything out there similar to a right-angle mill?

What about a right-angle vice?

There is an optional 90 degree head for Bridgeport mills (will fit most copies as well). They are not inexpensive. The can be had by themselves and used with a stub arbor, or, alternatively, you can get them with an over arm support that allows you to basically convert the machine to a horizontal mill with full length arbor.

Regarding a 90 degree vice, traditionally you would just get a large angle plate and bolt it to the mill table, then mount a regular vice to the angle plate.

Any other questions?

good idea for a work-around with the angle plate.

I actually have one of those bridgeport-type right-angle mill attachments...but I'm not sure it's going to work.

Just wondering what other options there are out there....?

I need to run a "v" cutter wheel on an arbor...but have the cutter move up/down on its edge. (make sense?)

Is there anything else I might be able to use with a Mill/Drill (like Grizzly, Jet, HF have)?

Sounds like you need to put a stub arbor in your spindle and look for a cheap old angle plate. If your BP right angle adapter is for a BP, it won't work on the mill/drill without lots of work.

One more thought occurs. If you need to make a V groove, have you considered a V shaped endmill instead of a V ground mill cutter.
