Right side nail nick

Speaking as a lefty I can only say ‘man, a nail nik for lefties would be as cool as it gets’. I think the reason the nik is on the other side is that the first knives that had the blade swap option had a permanently attached clip blade with the nik on the left and the swappable blades needed to have the nik on the other side or you wouldn’t have been able to use them. I’ll bet they never redesigned the swappable blades when they redesigned the knife to get rid of the permanently attached blade. Now that I know that the knife is a lefty I have got to get me one of those. Nice collection Mike.

 ...Mike...How's the lockup on those Selectors??...Is there much play or wobble evident with the different blades?...

They're pretty good....about like the Bucklite. As I said before, they may not look pretty, but they seem to be a good utility grade tool for field use. Mine has a drop point serrated blade and a good saw blade in addition to the standard clip point blade. You could just about take care of anything with that combo. :D

Did I hear someone call my name?

Sorry, I've been busy ciphering. :D

Let me get this straight you want to create a "Selector" 110?
Well I'm embarrassed to admit that I never took apart any of my 110's. :o So my first question to those of you who have is, what keeps the liners spaced apart at the blade end other than the blade and the lock back?

Mike

There is a bushing at the blade pivot; pressed in place, it is a shade wider than the thickness of the blade...

Hold on a sec; I have a scan of a disassembled 110 at PhotoBucket, I'll link it...
