Is the 1707 easier to flip than the 1507 (terrible design; have to put your fingers on the clip)

The knife flips great for me, but the flipper tab is on the small side. They did that to make the knife look in proportion when closed. The blade tucks deeply into the frame, so they didn't want the tab to stick way out. Tried to post a video of me opening and closing, but it did not upload. Sorry about that. I'll try again.
