OK, I rarely name my knives, because I can never think of any good names. This name was given by one of the first customers for this type of knife so it kind of stuck. Anyways, I haven't made any of these in a while, but found some steel I had drilled the hole in quite a few years ago so I made this. It was ground on my rotary platen for a slight convex grind. It was clay quenched for a nice hamon and polished to 2000 grit to bring out the details.
The handle is grey warwood. It is quite dark, it almost looks black. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy. The handle fits nicely into the palm of the hand and the hole provides for an unbreakable grip.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It has a keeper strap that holds the knife in nicely.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/4" tip to handle
OAL - 7 1/4"
Price - $195 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
I have this posted in other places, so the first timestamp to say "I'll take it!" gets it.
