I have just added some new scales and blocks to my store. Mostly new Ringed Gidgee but also some Budgeroo. The more Ringed Gidgee I cut, the more I realize how hard it is to find the top shelf stuff.

Good Gidgee is very hard to find. Gidgee is some of the prettiest wood on the planet. Gidgee is incredibly hard and stable and makes a great knife handle - possibly better than almost any other known wood. Peter's prices are already a bargain (especially when compared to premium koa or ironwood), AUD is very cheap right now (thank you, China) and Peter is great to work with.

I just placed another order. You should too.

I'm still working through the last batch, .... this is really AAAAA grade gidgee.

The best way to make the shipping from Oz affordable is to buy a big batch. You won't regret having ten blocks sitting on the shelf.

Peter, glad things are back running again after the fire.
 
I ordered three blocks a while back, excellent material. Have them stashed back for JS test knives in 2017.
 
I still have the 6 or so blocks I ordered a while back. Saving them for something special.
 
I ordered myself a block for personal use, gonna try it out. I'll try to remember to post a pic of my project with it. Excited to see it!
