Here is some of Don Hanson's W2, forged into a recurve blade. It is ground on a rotary platen for a slight convex grind. It has been clay coated for a nice hamon. (I personally think it is the best hamon I have managed to pull out of W2 so far).
The handle is some nicely figured cocobolo. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife draws with a tug and is held securely.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/2"
Price - $240 shipped to US
I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp to say "I'll take it!" gets it.
