This is a ringtail knife with my homemade micarta. The micarta is black, maroon and white. It really looks good on the knife.
The blade is 5160 that has been clay quenched and shows a decent hamon (for 5160) it is not as bold as a hamon on 1080, but it shows more cloudiness around the transition line.
The sheath is kydex and has a belt loop that can be turned 90 degrees for horizontal carry.
The handle is designed so that it cay be gripped either with the little finger in the ring or with all fingers on the handle. I have shown pictures of this to help with the concept. The handle is also held on with three mini mosaics. It think they look nice.
Here are the dimensions on the knife.
Blade - 5" tip to handle
OAL - Just a tick over 9"
Price - $190 Shipped. I prefer paypal to mlwbailey@yahoo.com, but will accept check or money order.
The first "I'll take it" Gets it.
