Wow Roger, thats smokin' and the shimmer must be awesome!! The fittings really are particularly nice on this one. I love the way the damascus looks on the guard especially. This bowie looks like it would come to life in a crazy way in person.

Do you display your knives? I ask because I'd love to see them all together.

Jon, I display some of my knives, but not all. My Cohea warhawk set and my Branson tanto each came with custom built stands and they are displayed. My Legacy bowie from John White came with a custom domed display case that is as nice as any of the furniture in my house, so that is displayed. Beyond that, I have a cherry wood table-top display case that can hold 8 or 10 knives, and I rotate knives in and out periodically.

I'd like to be able to display more, but it's taken no small amount of spousal negotiation to get this far - don't want to push my luck. :o

Besides the very good materials, the entire knife just looks right. A sweet one for sure. I won't be surprised to see that one in the Best Bowie of 2013 thread...
