I just read elsewhere that Frank Centofante passed after a lengthy illness and hospitalization.
Rest in peace.

He will be dearly missed, Rest in peace. our prayers go out to his family and friends. he did just amazing work and i have been wanting to get his book "How To Make Folding Knives" for a long time. RIP

Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him.
I think I've read his section in How to make Folding Knives at least a dozen times.

He made a fine folder, one of the best from what I understand.

It's sad to see the old masters move on to wherever it is we go from here.

He did however, leave quite a legacy. His name, his fine knives, and the techniques he so generously shared, will live on for a long, long time.

RIP Frank Centofante

The man was a real contributor to the knife community.

I never met him, but his work stands as an inspiration to all knifemakers.

Condolences to his family, Fred

Dang, hate to hear that, I've never met him, but like many have read his book many, many times.

RIP

Frank was a cool guy one look at him and he radiated the many blades he
had ground. Condolences to family and RIP Frank.
Ken.
