We lost a good friend here at BFC, I found out from another member that last night, he passed away 5-26-2014, he was a great member and will be sadly missed.

Till we all meet again Bill at the big knife show in the sky may you be at peace. At least you'll be in great company with all the other members of BFC and the other greats of our community.

Smoke and prayers going out to his family and many friends here at BFC.

As I find out any info I'll post it here, if anyone knows funeral/memorial service information please post it here unless a more active thread elsewhere I just wanted to let the community know...

I'm sorry to hear this. I didn't know him but from what I saw he seemed like a genuinely good bloke. My condolences to all of his mates here.

Seriously? I don't know what to say. :(

His last post was on May 25, I think.

RIP Bill.

R.I.P. Bill aka Maniacal Pete.

I was shocked, when I saw this thread.

May you rest in peace sir, my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Very tragic news about a good guy and friend. My sympathies and prayers go out to his family.

Damn, this is a shock.
He had said something was going on that he didn't want to talk about, but I had no idea it something like this.

Pete/Bill was a really great guy, and he will be missed dearly by many here.

My thoughts go out to his family, and anyone else close to Bill.
RIP, Bill.

Here's his obituary. :(

William "Bill" Hufferd
12/19/59 ~ 5/26/14
Our beloved Billy passed suddenly Monday evening after a long battle with depression.
His hard work and dedication to his wife was second to none. Bill had a passion for astrology and the outdoors, and was an avid animal lover. Brilliant in so many ways, Bill's talents were great. A practicing Buddhist with a black belt in Karate, Bill spent his life learning.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Kelly Hufferd, and his canine companion, Charlie. Ad astra per aspera, you will not be forgotten.
