I read your mothers obituary in the local paper here in Fairbanks. She was my age.I hitchhiked up here at about the same time as she did. I do not know if our paths crossed. It sounds like she left you with a wonderful legacy.
You were blessed to be her son.

I just found this post. Sorry for your loss. Memories are one of my greatest treasures and I believe we'd all agree to that concerning ourselves to some extent. Hold on to them, think of them often, but most of all, share them with others you love and who loved your mom.
