RIP Patrick Swayze

I remember some of my friends going to the cinema more than 20 times to see Dirty Dancing. I'd say he made a lot of people happy, if only for the duration of one film or another. And he was, and will be an inspiration to those who have cancer.

That' a shame. I was hoping that he would beat it. I liked him. He was a lot more regular guy then most movie stars. Real shame. R.I.P.

Just got home from cub scout meeting, I did not even know he died....I still love roadhouse and point break

Two of my favorite movies.....definitely in the top 15 on my list. "Red Dawn" is on that list too!! WOLVERINES!!!!!

I'm really sad to hear this, I hoped he would pull through. Rest in peace, Patrick...you'll be missed.

RIP.

He's home now, free of all pain and suffering. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

I did not know him personally, but I have enjoyed some of his movies. My impression of him is that he was a pretty tough guy. He showed some serious determination toward the end. He probably did more in his 57 years than most of us will ever do.

Cancer just sucks. My sister-in-law died from a brain tumor in May (28 years old). I have several other relatives who have died from cancer. My oldest brother is a cancer survivor.
I don't wish cancer on anyone, except for terrorists and child abusers.
R.I.P. Patrick

Patrick Swayze was one of a very small group that I actually think deserve the term "entertainer".

It's for that rare talented person, that can act (comedy and dramatic roles), sing and yes even dance.

From Uncommon Valor to Dirty Dancing, Ghost and even though it still boggles my mind that he did it, even To Wong Fu:Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar, the man just worked hard at giving his best in any role.

There's a whole lot of todays "hollywood" crowd that could learn a thing or to from his example.

He made it 2 years longer than my mom did.

R.I.P.

"Red Dawn", "Uncommon Valor", "Roadhouse", "Next of Kin", in that order, were my favorites of his.

Everything I've heard, he was a nice guy in real life, too.

''Roadhouse'' was a cool movie too. He was also in ''The Outsiders", he was real young then, it was a great movie also.

RIP! Another huge "Red Dawn" fan right here - a true classic...and one I'm still surprised to the day actually made its way out of Hollywood!!
