RIP Robert Woldorff Loveless

I had my beer to his name, never knew him, read his book, and still put him in the section of heroes where only the likes of Miyamoto and Masamune reside... R.I.P.

His style is great, and from his book you can tell that he had a wonderful approach to life.
Artistic, creative, self-reliant, good and comfortable with sharing and teaching, independent thinker, evidently a loyal friend.
I don't know anything about his family, and whether he has children or a wife.

I do know that he influenced generations of knifemakers and collectors.

Dr. Jim - don't let it get you down, you still have a lot of art and teaching left in you!

condolensces to friends and family,

Kevin

Wow. I learned so much about making knives from Bob's book. It's on my workbench right now, as are yours Mr. Hrisoulas, although I already know everything in them by heart. R.I.P., Mr. Loveless thank you very much, I'm raising a beer to you tonight.
