I traded my custom knife for a Strider that Ritt had. His package got lost in the mail.
AS SOON as his package didn't show up on time, he immediately said not to worry that he'd send my knife back or pay me the value if his didn't arrive.
I was patient and we waited and waited.
Turns out it was my fault for giving him the wrong zip code. The Post Office eventually figured it out and the knife arrived.
It breaks my heart that this honest man could have paid me all that money because of my mistake (which I will NEVER make again). But it goes to show what a stand up man of character Ritt is.
Just in case there are any opportunists out there thinking of taking advantage of this great guy, I'm sure that if one of his packages ever gets lost again, Ritt will check with the Post Office to see if he was given the wrong zip code and place the blame where it belongs instead of just accepting the blame again because we both learned something in this ordeal.
Be safe, don't confuse your work and home zip codes, and trade with Ritt!
