I find it strange that many don't consider the long term potential value of these knives. Outright dismissal. Yet, many bought "spares," which will be safe queens at least for a time.
The M2 knives have potential. They are realitively rare (what's the production, 250 of each size?). They are the reported last of the M2 Benchmades. They are already a relatively rare design variant. And, NIB examples will probable be less than 100 (based on this thread).
The future market of anything is hard to gage, too many whims involved. Will they increase in value? As stated, they will at least maintain value in all probability. But then again, if the firm maintains its cache value, they could end up being another 806D2 (still running some high prices given its previous, pre-discontinued street price).
