Should I pull the trigger on a Ritter Mini Griptilian (orange) while they are still available, or say goodbye to the past and move ahead with a new Benchmade Mini Grip?

"Get Both" is what I expect, but humor me with an opinion if you don't mind.

It comes down to RSK M390 or CPM-20CV w/G10. Orange or Grey/Blue. Stone wash or Satin.

...get both

LOL

BTW..I own:

Blurple Manix 2 in S110V
PM2 in M4
BM Griptilian in BK M4

Looking for small EDC. Love my collection so far (knife noob)

You can get G10 scales from a variety of makers here in whatever style, color or alternate materials you like. My vote would be the Ritter now and upgrade the scales later. Ritters may be gone for good once there gone.

I always preferred the Ritter. I bought the 556-1 and soon sold to a friend. Went back to a mini-Ritter with custom scales.

Hope this helps...

I've always liked the Ritter blade shape the best. Steels have same alloy content. Like Elite_KG says there are a lot of scale options available now.
I have $215 in this with the KSF g-10 scales.

I've been carrying Mini Grips for over 10 years now. Got a Ritter and just worried too much about the thinner edge, especially for zip ties and staples and such. I went back to the standard blade. May have just been paranoia on my part, but it is what it is. All depends on what's more important to you- do you want a better slicer, or a blade you won't worry about?

Of course, eventually, you will have both ; )

Just get the Ritter and be done with it. Use the knife for six months to try it out. Sell it if you don't like the thing. Good chance you will not loose any money.

Ritter for the blade shape but the G10 scales are a good selling point for the new versions.
The plastic doesn't mind me much on the small ones but still, G10 may feel better for you

For myself I took the mini and large ritter over the new grip

I have both mini versions in G10 and Ritter. Even thought both blades are equivalent in blade steels, I prefer the Ritter blade shape with aftermarket scales. My favorite aftermarket scales are from Wilkins Grips.

You won't regret either one. Buy both...lol.
