I like the balance of the weights and I dont mind the scales.im gona keep this one stock

Do the tkc scales have different mounting points? Or is it just the weights?

Sorry. Missed this post last night. but in reply...

The t-k-c scales have 2 bolts instead of 3 like the stock. The rear of the 2 falls right where the weights are. In order to use the t-k-c scales, you would have to either create new holes in the scales so that the bolts can go through to the other side or drill out metal where the weights are located.

Thanks. I thought the handles were the same. I didn't realize the bk12 moved a mounting point to put the weights in.

The bolt mounting point aren't moved on the 12. If you remove the balance weights, Ka-Bar micarta scales fit just fine on the BK12. At least they do on mine. All three bolts holes line up perfectly.
