That's one hell of a nice knife buddy but I guess we are all just broke !!!!

I love your knives i look down the posters looking for you and 1-2 other makers. I look at all your posts and you been busy the last couple wks.... your work is simply amazing and the only ones my wife thinks are pretty which is a bonus, she is harsh trust me. I have 2 kids and i think your price is VERY resonable for the knife you make, it is just outside my budget.
I DO HOPE TO GET one of your knifes, trust me!

I not big on the posting on every knife that comes up saying ..."wow that is pretty but all i can afford is a bump" or "i bought XXX or i would be all over this" ...then 2 days later saying "someone buy this i am tempted" Or " someone buy this or my wife will kill me" (i think it sounds so hollow)

but look i only have 8-10 posts so what do i know......

Cyck -

Thanks for the kind comments and if you only have 8-10 posts so far and you chose to post one on my account, that's cool. I'm especially flattered if I'm one of the makers you look for when you're browsing on BF. And..... to get "Mama's" seal of approval, Wow that's something! I know how that works, my wife is my biggest critic besides myself.

As far as posting a comment on everything you see, I agree. I suppose it's my OCD ;) wondering if there is something wrong with the knife. The only reason I mentioned it in my post is that after three or four days and hundreds of views, you start wondering if you're the guy at the party with a booger on his nose that no one mentions.:D

See ya later.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your work. In my opinion, it's master quality. Sometimes someone wants a specific length, handle and so on. I'm just waiting around for 'the one' and I will buy. Things could be a little strained (financially) for some of the crowd that frequents this corner of the forum. They will all sell...they always do.

Buddy that is one cool knife. I know what you mean when no one lets you know if your fly is opened. I have a knife that is getting close to 2000 views, but I still have it. I have sold others like it but this one is still here.
I always look at your knives. Sometimes with a bit of dread, because there damn fine knives.

Beautiful work! I don't think I've ever seen your work before, but, both of them are great, but, unfortunately the way things have worked out this year, I've pretty much blown this year's knife budget already. I don't think $250 is unreasonable for a knife that looks like this. but still have have bills...life etc....bummer!

Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen. All in all isn't knife making is a labor of love? And a new knife is like one of your kids...that you get to sell when you get him finished!!! Take care all and God Bless.

I absolutely love your knives. There are a handful of knifemakers on this forum whose posts I always check and you are certainly one of them. Your knives are such works of art and at these prices the temptation is strong! The only reason I have not yet bought one is that all my knives are users and I feel damascus is not the best steel for use in the field.
BTW I checked your webpage gallery and really liked the Buck Nekid Hunter. Is it still available?

You must give into the temptation!

You're getting sleepy...sleepier...sleepier.... you are now asleep...

Now, you're dreaming about holding the River Croc in your hands. You switch hands to look at both sides of the satiny soft Desert Ironwood scales. You gaze at the file work with the wonderment that only the pride of ownership can give you. You slip it back into the sheath and fight the need to pull it out to start the whole thing over......

1 2 3 SNAP! You're awake. You now have this deep seated urge to reply with..."I'll take it!" Hurry, you might not be the only one that was hypnotized.....;)

For anyone who is on the fence about buying this knife I can personally attest to the quality of the damascus since it was made in my shop by my brother. We use 1084 and 15n20 which is one of the most popular combination to use in damascus for good reason, both the steels by themselves make a great knife. All the proper procedures were followed when forging the billet such as not overheating the steel as well as normalizing and annealing the billet at the appropriate temperatures.
