I have a new pommel to put on a much larger jian this week.

Then, I am going for a batch of working knives, Wharncliffes and drop points, probably. I have a commission for the wharncliffe. The rest, well, I am going to go with what seems right for working knives. Just about as far from the sword above as you can get in bladesmithing, except that everything will have the same careful attention to detail and heat treatment. Change of pace, though.

thanks guys. I can only make 3 or 4 of these per year. But, they are rewarding as hell (not financially, when you do the math I would do better making hunting knives for the guys back in Texas. They are rewarding for a whole other reason, though).
