So the alure of a Delica wharncliffe was too great, I took a chance and ordered one from Riversedge Cutlery. The knife arrived today, definitely an authentic Spyderco, blade perfectly centered, nice tension on the lock, snaps shut with authority, nice action... perfect example of a Delica. Some points to note...
- ordering was easy, pretty standard
- promptly received a confirmation e-mail
- follow up e-mail with shipping tracking number
- knife arrived in 2 days and was packaged nicely. Knife itself was in a bubble wrap sleeve, Spyderco box was in a bubble wrap sleeve and it was packed in a usps priority shipping box along with packing peanuts.
- included was a sample weather proof note pad with Riversedge Cutlery written on it (advertisment, yes but nice little extra)
- on the receipt was a handwritten note thanking me for my buisness - enjoy
So Riversedge Cutlery did right by me, I feel like they actually put some thought into the order with an added personal touch of the little note pad and a handwritten note. I would definitely order from them again.
