Top to Bottom:
RJ Martin Q30
- The folder that started it all for RJ in the folder biz. Now he's at the top of the top in tactical folders. This is a super EDC from one of the best.
- 3-3/8" blade, and I'm not sure if this was from his BG-42 days, or if it was early S30V days. I'd guess it's BG-42, which a lot of knowledgeable users will think is a positive over S30V. (it's not marked on blade or inside the knife)
- Lockup perfect. Blade centered. Top workmanship.
- Carbon fiber handles, and butt of handle is designed for reverse grip (that recess is perfect for your thumb in reverse grip)
- Carried, used lightly, sharpened... in excellent condition overall.
- One thing you'll notice is that the bolsters have a bit of orange peel finish visually... you can't feel it with your finger or fingernail at all... totally smooth... but it's there visually, probably a function of they way he finished the bolsters on the buffer. Just FYI. You can see it in the pics.
- $449 + $21 shipping & insurance to CONUS (HI/AK/CA add $5).
John W Smith gents folder, 3" of ATS-34
- Another top-of-the-top folder marker, John W Smith:
- Ironwood scales. Dark and elegant.
- Perfect lockup, perfectly centered blade. Rubbed/satin finish, super. Double thumbstuds.
- John is also top of the top... super fit & finish, dovetailed bolsters.
- Carried, used lightly, sharpened... excellent condition.
- Makes a great sheeple friendly gents EDC. A gem.
- $299 + $19 shipping & insurance to CONUS (HI/AK/CA add $5).
Terms:
- Paypal strongly preferred, and Ill split the 3.4% costs with buyer. rdangerer@gmail.com
- USPS Money Order a very distant second place.
- No overseas shipments except maybe Canada if buyer accepts all risks once I provide proof of shipment and insurance. Same for Austrailia, both subject to higher (actual) shipping costs.
- Buyers must be 18 years of age.
- Prefer to ship UPS or Fedex Ground for tracking reasons. If you insist on USPS please advise.
