From TAD:

Richard and Ryan Johnson, the father and son team behind RMJ Tactical, have been making tomahawks for more than 25 years. Pulling their design inspiration from a wide breadth of historical weapons and relying on the real-world experience from their customers across the special operations community, the Johnsons continue to build reliable companions for field operations.

RMJ believes that a well-designed tactical tomahawk should be easy and intuitive to use, easy to carry and should feel like a natural extension of your arm. They also value the importance of versatility and design their tomahawks to perform as an efficient tool and weapon for the many tasks that soldiers and officers encounter. As for the tomahawk scabbard, it should securely hold the tomahawk in place while making it easy to draw the tomahawk out with multiple carrying options.

We are proud to bring our fans the rare opportunity to get your hands on one of these hand crafted masterpieces.

Features:
Unlike many modern blades, which are formed by removing material from bar or sheet stock and sanding to produce a grind, RMJ hand forges each tomahawk the old-fashioned way. They begin by heating up the metal and forming it to the appropriate shape then placing the material into a contemporary CNC machine, which sheers off the excess shape and forms the grind.
The Chrome-Moly 4140 steel construction combined with a fixed tang and an insulated grip capable of withstanding more than 2500 volts results in a tomahawk that is nearly indestructible.
Aside from amplifying the hawk’s intimidation factor, the grooves in the grind serve a very functional purpose. The raised areas of the blade provide pockets of space so that only half of the edge’s surface area is in contact with the material, which reduces the energy needed for pulling the blade out.
The hammer pole adds to the tomahawks’ dual functionality as a utility tool, while the butt of the handle is shaped for effective use as an impact device. It also unscrews to reveal a hollowed handle that doubles as a waterproof life capsule. The chamber comes pre-filled with a sharpening stone from RMJ Tactical - an important tool to have on hand during repetitive breaching exercises.
The bottom eject, jump-ready Kydex scabbard can be configured as a sling or shoulder strap for easy carry.
