Hi all I just finished this knife up today and thought I would see what you all think of it. It has a 4.5" long and is 3/32" steel thickness and just a little under 1.5" wide blade. it has a 4.75" long handle that I put osage wood on for the handle scales.

Here is a in hand shot.

I was kind of thinking that this might work ok as a survival knife if need be:D
It sure carves up the fuzz sticks nice and I battoned through some Walnut wood that I had lying around. It went through just fine.

Any thoughts or sugestions or comments are welcome,
Thanks for looking.

Well, I had a little preview of this one! You know me, I love the osage and that handle will really darken up over time. That extra belly would be really great for notching, when you push cut the wood at the end of the slice.

Nice!

Sign me up for One with a 5" blade and Osage handles. You are da man. I love the continuous curve--belly--of the blade.

If you mail it to me I'll give you an opinion. I really can't tell from the pics.
Actually I love the design. Looks great to me!
I've really been looking at your Pathfinder lately. Can you post a pic of this one next to a Pathfinder please?

LOL ! Here we go again :D another one for my 09 list LOL !
Great looking knife & like the handles !

Great looking knife bro and with a manly handle as well instead of those short, thin sissy type handles that a lot of knives seem to have nowdays !!!

I like it, the curved cutting edge really works for me,

…straight edges are much too common and don’t work as well as plenty of belly.
