This is a roach belly style knife, with a fairly small and compact handle. I find it comfortable to use, especially in a choked grip for fine cutting. Koyote Girl says it's perfect for a fist grip.

.095 15N20, forge finish, with a convex grind and differential heat treat.
OAL is 6 5/8 inches, blade is a hair over 3 inches.

Coyote brown micarta with brass pins.

Sheath is a Koyote Girl ranger style.

SOLD asking $125

And this is a "Needham Special" - a small, broad bladed knife set up for easy low profile horizontal belt carry.

15N20 steel with a shallow convex grind, this is 5.75 inches long with a blade length of 2.5 inches. forge finish, with bluing to the tang.

Handle material is black acacia with stainless pins.

Koyote Girl sheath with retention, set up for horizontal carry (a belt hanger in the style of the explorer sheaths can be added on request for vertical carry)

SOLD

Sweeet! Is it the angle of the pic or does that Roach Belly have an ever so slight finger groove hump? Awesome.

So which of the three posted above 'bit' you?

(The Roach belly is looking very nice by the way.)

The roach belly. I got a hair shaving edge on it by accident before I crocus clothed the blade flats....

Rec'd my Needham Special and it's a beauty. The whole setup is top notch (awesome sheath!) and very sharp. Not a surprise that you could get bit by one of your knives!
Great to deal with and quick turnaround.
Thanks!
