Did they start making the roadhouse in 2010, and does anybody know how many of these they made, and or currently making? I noticed they don't give out alot of that kind of information, seems like it's classified lol. It just makes me wonder that if I have a #119, is it a #119 out of like 1000 or 10,000. I would feel better knowing that since it IS stamped with a #, knowing where it fits in Emerson's production timeline, along with some of my other emersons. Call me weird, but I like knowing the history of the stuff I carry around.

IMHO Emerson's prime product is using knives not collecting knives. They produce them in batches and the size of the run is based on anticipated demand. If a knife is popular they produce more. The exception is the Emerson Collector Association Knife of the Year which is produced in small numbers then discontinued. If you want to collect join the ECA you'll not only get a shot at collectible knives but also get advance notice on new knives so you can get lower serial numbers.
