I've got my beloved Rob Criswell Wakizashi up on the block tonight. The only reason that I'm selling this is because, for me, there is no practical reason to have it (and I need more money for my next Burt Foster knife). That's not to say that every edged item that I possess is applied to practical uses, but it's always easier to justify havinging them if I can imagine that they can be used as such. But that being said this is just flat out bad ass and fun to have around. It's not seen any use and is in pristine condition, but it has spent countless hours being twirled around as I relive that wonderous age of twelve.
Again, the sword is in pristine condition. Overall length measures 30" with a blade length just shy of 19". Blade is A2 tool steel and the handle is wrapped cord over G-10 with full tang construction. Scabbard is also made of G-10.
If there appears to be any markings on the blade in the photos it's only because we forgot to wipe the oil off the blade before taking the shots. Larger photos are available for anyone that wants them.
I'm going to eliminate the dickering this time and just post my bottom line price of $OLD shipped (in the lower 48, anywhere else will require additional shipping charges). Dickering reinstituted - Price dropped to $OLD (details below, not that there really are any).
Be sure to check out the current edition of Tactical Knives Magazine for a great article on Criswell swords and knives.
Feel free to write with any questions.
