Folks

Just to clear the air here.
I am paying ROB FRINK for the grinder he built me.
If you think I would take advantage of anyone YOUR NUTS!
Rob set my grinder up with a 14 inch wheel, 4 inch wheel and a 8 inch wheel and a platen attachment. Next I want a 1 inch and 2 inch wheel. The reason I like this grinder is this. Even the 1 inch wheel runs on 2 - 1 inch ID bearings. It is smooth and the BEST finishing machine I have seen. ITs is also adjustable in every direction with ease.
I have several grinders in my shop!
Burr king, wilton square wheel, kalamazoo,
delta, rockwell. I have had 2 baders. I sold them both.

ROBS GRINDERS IS THE BEST OUT OF ALL OF THEM.

I call a spade a spade.

The grinder I have runs truer, smoother, and is faster to change wheel size and attachments then any grinder I have seen. It is built EXTRA HEAVY DUTY ALSO. It is easy to repair and uses hugh bearings that you can grease yourself. It runs so quite that it beats the burr king. I love it.
It tracks fantastic.
Other than that I dont have anymore to say.
The comparisons I have made are to good standard machines that are industrial quality grinders that are built for knifemaking.
If you want to come to my shop and see what I mean COME ON OVER. The proof is in the machine itself.

AS for the other BS that that has been floating here , Thats all it is BS.

Thanks Kit for closing the other thread!

Me too. After Blade Show Im looking @ getting one of his Heavy Duty grinders. Lots of good things being said about them...

Rob Frink was a pleasure to do business with.I bought one of his grinders as well,it was a huge upgrade for me,and I am totally pleased with the simplicity of the operation of it.Quick change, ultra smooth, and I am not locked in to paying that high $$$ for a replacement motor from one of the other manufactures. The best investment I can think of.

Thanks again Rob for all the help you have been.

I am a knifemaking nobody too. I emailed Rob to get a price on a 8 inch smooth wheel for my Wilton. It was a great transaction and the price was fair. Rob even spun a drive pulley for my other grinder down for free because I didn't have a lathe at the time! I emailed Rob a few months later to get a price on a 4 and 6 inch wheel. He quoted me a price and told me that he didn't make them but would be happy to put it together and I should shop around to see if I could get them cheaper somewhere else! Not bad service in my book.

Hello, my name is Bob and I'm a Frinkaholic.

Hi, Bob.

I ordered a disk plate for my disk sander, but I wanted a steeper face bevel (3 degrees), a slightly smaller radius (8-7/8") and I had an unusual shaft size becuase my surface grinder was a home made jobbie. He met all these requirements and took it as an enthusiastic challenge instead of a troublesome burden.

I will definitely do business with Rob again.

If all goes well, I will have 30 blades to sell shortly, ranging from small neckers to 4" hunters with a variety of steel, D2, O-1, 1084 and ATS-34. Hopefully I will make enough and maybe afford a Real Frink Grinder!!!!! OR maybe just modify the heck out of my grizzly
