ROB HUDSON KNIFE AND CASE
Legendary knife maker Rob Hudson was heavily influenced by his friend Bill Moran. Rob purchased his first knife - a bowie- from Bill in the late 1960s.
R. Hudson is the person often credited with re-introducing the concept of composite damascus in the early 1980s. Robs knives bring high prices, most in the thousands .to above $20,000.00
This knife was made for Bert Gaston , chairman of the ABS Master Smith judging committee, and was the first knife marked with Hudsons MS stamp. It was a thank-you gift to Bert for all his help.
I acquired it from Bert at an ABS auction.
