SOLD!!!

Here's one I never thought I'd part with, but, the bills keep coming in, and business has been lousy this past year, so, I have had to sell several knives I never expected I would, this might be the most painful yet.

Rob Patton JS. fighter/bowie, a one of a kind fighter that Rob named: "The Druid Bowie". Most of Rob's fighters are not this large, they tend to hover around the 7-8" mark, so at 10", this is an un ususally large bowie from Rob, and yet, as you can see, this larger size doesn't come at the expense of grace, this is one sleek and wickedly fast fighter!

The knife is dead mint, and the workmanship is flawless, the fit of the blade to the guard is nothing short of 100% perfection on all 4 sides.

Forged 10" fighter blade of a very complex, visually stunning random/explosion pattern damascus by Rob. Though there isn't a visible temper line, the blade has been differentially tempered. This blade has one of the sharpest edges you will ever experience, this knife could cut you across the room with just a glance in its direction. :) To call it scary sharp doesn't even begin to describe it. :) The grinds are dead on, there is a long, (unsharpened) top swedge/clip, and the blade's shape/design is IMO what all fighter's aspire to, I truly believe Rob makes the world's finest forged fighters and this is a perfect, beautiful example of his work.

The curvy "S" guard and long ferrule are of the same damascus, the ferrule has very cool pure copper spacers on each side, a unique touch I like a lot, and the copper is seamlessy joined to the damascus ferrule.

The handle is a single piece of smooth, deep black African Blackwood, the densest, most stable wood there is, and it has been beautifully carved by Rob. There is also some nickel silver pinwork in the handle, with all pins being perfectly flush with the wood, another nice touch.

While I do need the money, I'm not desperate enough to dump this knife very cheaply, so, I am offering it for $old shipped fully insured Priority, a price that is both fair, and firm.

I will also throw in a correctly sized (wider case, to allow for the wide guard), Bill's Custom Case (Black/Zipper). This is one of the larger cases Bill makes and costs about $45.

First to email me at: mammothivory2000@yahoo.com and say those magic words: "I'll take it" gets it.

While I will consider trade offers, please understand, I'm selling this to raise money, your trade will have to be something VERY interesting (to me :)) to get me interested in trading, so please don't be offended if I have to pass on your trade offer.

On this knife, I must insist on payment in the form of a US Postal money order, or, if I know you well, a personal check, I can't do PayPal on this one, sorry.

Well, here are pics, thanks for looking!
