Well Blues - next time around - take the Honda ST1100 - it should get the job done...

Seriously - GR8 looking knife, and one hell of a trip (actually getting stuck 1.5 hours away from a friends house is almost fun....)

You get the adventure and the chance to enjoy his helpful friendship...

Well, Bilious, I wish I had my '94 ST1100A with me on this trip. I've had mine since '95 and it has gotten me to Arizona/Utah and many other western states and back without a lick of trouble.

Figured to save a little time in commuting with the Beemer, but I'll stick to my ST from now on.

Was a great trip nonetheless.

Some Knife Pix

Been using the pikuni and loving it. What a wonderful designed knife. Very easy to sharpen and very attractive. Get a lot "wow!" and "where did you get that?" with this knife.

A friend of mine is going on her first elk hunt this fall and I am going to let her.....borrow.....(arrghh....she better not lose this knife!) the knife. I am sure it will do great.

The only thing that concerns me to be honest is the kydex sheath. When I invert the knife upside down the knife sort of flops out a bit though it hasn't fallen out. Makes me a bit paranoid but I will be careful with it. Also a multifunctional sheath (horizontal and vertical) carry would be nice with this knife.

Overall I am very impressed and this will NOT be my last Simonich knife.

Greg, if there is any problem whatsoever with the sheath return it to me for a new one, no charge. Also, the knife should have come with 2 belt loops, one for verticle carry and one for horizontal carry. Did these come with the knife?

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Pikuni!

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your offer. The knife came with a single verticle belt loop. I will email you regarding the sheath. I truly do love the knife and I have to say it is one of the neatest knives I have ever seen.
Regards.

Greg
