Up for sale or trade (see bottom of post) are two very nice slipjoints:
1. Ohta stag gunstock slipjoint. This knife is 3 3/4 closed, with an ats-34 blade that is right around 3". The bolsters are highly polished stainless steel with nicely matched popcorn stag scales. The blade snaps opens with authority and has a nice crisp halfstop. The pull to open is around a 6, and the blade is insanely sharp.
This knife has been gently carried and used, and has some light marks on the bolsters and blades. The backspring is flush in all positions. The overall condition is excellent. Just for full disclosure: the blade will move slightly from side to side in the closed position, but is very solid once opened.
$295 sold!!!!!
2. Calvin Robinson slipjoint. This knife is 3 1/2 closed, with jigged micarta scales and a satin finish on the bolster and blade. The blade is D2 steel, and is wicked sharp. The pull on this knife is lighter, around a 3 or so. This allows the blade to be easily "plucked" to open the knife. There is a nice halfstop and silky smooth walk and talk. This knife is also flush in all positions. This knife has been carried twice that I can remember, and looks new except for a tiny scratch on the spine that won't show in pictures.
$245

Both prices include shipping in the states and all fees. I prefer PayPal but will consider other options if you have good feedback. I will give you a discount if you buy both knives. If you have any questions, please PM or email me.
As for trades: cash either way can balance a trade deal!!
On the lookout for other custom slipjoints or a CRK Mnandi or an inlayed sebenza.
For the slipjoints:
3"- 3 3/4" closed
No clip blades
For the CRKs:
No ebony
Other than that, just ask. The worst I can do is say no thanks
Thanks for looking!
