Recommendation? Robust 3.9” EDC Slipjoint?

Aside from buying another knife exactly like the one you already have, you could use your favorite online retailer's search function to look for something that might fit the bill. Here are a few I came up with...

Italian Custom Knives Scarperia Folding Knife with a 3.88 inch blade, no thumb studs.
Bear & Sons 457GB, no thumb studs, but with a 3.5-inch blade.
Boker Plus SamoSaur, 3.43-inch balde, no thumb studs.
Gerber Mansfield Swayback, no studs, 3.15-inch blade.
TB Outdoor Unboxer EDC Folding Knife 3.1-inch blade, has thumb studs.
Kansept Knive Rolf Helbig Foosa Slip Joint Knife, flipper, 3.1-inch blade.
Trollsky Knives Mandu non-locking flipper, 3-inch blade.
CIVIVI Knives Ferrum Forge Stylus Double Detent Slipjoint Front Flipper, no thumb studs, 2.96-inch blade.
CIVIVI Knives C2015B Appalachian Drifter Double Detent Slipjoint Flipper, no thumb studs, 2.96-inch blade.
SOG Terminus SJ, albeing sans thumb studs, and with a 2.9-inch blade.

Pretty certain my Boker isn’t made any more and last I looked used, I couldn’t find one.

I went to a few knife websites but unless I missed it, no one had a full featured filtering search capability (slipjoint, style, blade size, price range)

Thx for your and everyone’s suggestions I’ll look them over this weekend.

I think one handed opening and a clip will be more of a sticking point than the blade length preference. If you're willing to go full traditional, there are a bunch of larger options out there. Most are niche rarities and can get up there in price, but Rough Ryder Reserve has recreated a bunch of them for some reason. The reserve line is very different from regular Rough Ryder and feels surprisingly close to the Case Tony Bose annuals (machined liners with no distortion, stainless steel bolsters, better steel). These three can all be pinched open and one of their dealers is selling them at a heavy discount at the moment:

Second vote on spyderco uk penknife, choose one in LC200N if you expect moisture in the air, tolerance make a couple too. Why does it have to be robust? Swiss army knives are plenty robust, or do you mean strong spring tension? If thats the case just carry a pocket fixed blade and eliminate that concern

Here's another douk douk idea: get a cheaper model with a ring on the butt which sticks out of the pocket and/or attach a cord to it so you can pull it from the pocket easier (instead of a clip), and if you want a more hand-filling grip you can glue some thin g10 or wood strips to the scales with epoxy or jb weld.
