Id spend the extra for an Izula II over a BK14 if it was me. The Becker is a good knife but as others have mentioned, the sheath is really bad.
Doesnt matter how good the blade itself is if the sheath dulls the knife every time you put it away. Mine would take the blade from shaving sharp to couldnt cut printer paper after sheathing it twice when I first got it. I cut the crap out of the inside of the sheath with a hacksaw blade and have a strip of leather wedged in there now but it still kills the edge after about 10 or so uses.
Not everyone's sheath is that bad (some say pushing the knife against the spine edge stops the problem so their sheaths must have been better than mine to begin with), but why take the chance? If you plan on getting a custom sheath made, the bk14 is great though. Pretty well perfect size and shape which makes the problems with the factory sheath all the more depressing.
As it stands now, my bk14 is useless as a knife. Its more of a flimsy pry bar or expensive, limited utility, scraper.
