Rock it in your pocket

OK you know how I get on a roll and hog the whole thread? Why change now. (that wasn't exactly a question).
For some reason this pair of work pants do this on the side I carry my knife. Freekin' permanent creases. I don't know why.

And here is a favorite baby picture; the end of my Holdout I; no clip needed, sits perfectly accessible as is . . . talking low ride clip / who needs it. :)

The blade toward the open pocket and not toward the rear concerns me.
One could shove something into the pocket, like a hand, and cause the blade to swing forward exposing the tip. Being a newbie there are probably some things I don't understand here.
