Rock Video - Making of The “Wise Magic” Knife:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ5bgH7Yz8I

I did another rock video. This one shows the making of the “Wise Magic” Knife. There’s some attention getters in there! I think you’ll find it entertaining. This one has more detailed work than the last couple knives I’ve done. It’ll be tuff letting go of this one! I’ve grown attached to it.

5160 Steel Blade was cut out and Normalized @ 1500 degrees until non magnetic, three times, to remove stresses and align crystals. Heat Hardened to @ 1500 degrees, until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in 125 degree quality oil. Tempered the blade to a straw hardness @ 425 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool and repeating once more. Blade was file tested and is shown to be very hard.

Measurements:
Total Length = 14 ”
Blade Length = 9 ¼ “
Blade Width = 1 ¾ “
Blade Thickness = ¼“
Handle Length = 4 ¾ “
Handle Width = 1 3/8 to ¾ “
Handle: Osage Orange with Torched Finish.
Sheath: Hand stitched leather hide with scorpion logo.
Weight = 20 oz.

Price Dropped to $195 plus $12 shipping fee, if shipped in the US. You can send through Paypal to ScorpionBows@mchsi.com or mail M/O to our address (see web site for address).

Pictures of the finished knife. Thanks.

Hang tight everyone. YouTube is having problems this morning. They were doing maintenance on their site when I uploaded this last night and it's having trouble loading. I'm uploading the vid soon, and will post when it's up again. Chris
