Hi Mike,

I got my RC-6 from knivesshipfree.com.
Arrived within 10 working days and was reasonably priced. Shipping is only free within the US unfortunately.

Sweet! I like that little Necker.

Speaking of Australia, I've been up till like 4AM the past couple nights watching the Australian Open. The Federer/Davydenko match was INSANE last night.

Anyways back to kick A knives... :)

Tell me about it! I've had a few late nights myself watching the tennis. I'm tipping a big upset, with Andy Murray to take the championship.;)

Congrats man, I'd consider for EDC a RC-3, Izula or maybe a Bravo Necker.

Cheers mate.

Me thinks i will be pulling the trigger on an RC-3MIL asap. ;)
After that i've got my eye on the desert tan RC-4....the addiction begins.:D

Oh Man, a Federer/Murray championship match would be freaking awesome. I'm a fan of both of those guys so I wouldnt care so much who would win or lose. It'd just be a good match to watch.

I get all my blades from the same sites all the yanks do. Buy from a dealer here and you are looking at 2 to 3 times the cost of buying from KSF or Knife works (including shipping).
$262.50 for an RC-5? No thanks.

I'd like to know where these guys get there pricing from. You can get one from NGK in the US for around $185 and that includes shipping and currency conversion.

I'm almost tempted to start importing them myself if I can make that sort of profit. :)

King of Knives (AKA King of Thieves) is the worst. They sell Spyderco Delica's for the bargain price of 170 bucks each.

I'm in Oz too, buying blades in Australia from most camping supply stores isn't worth it. I went into a Military surplus store the other day and my Spyderco Paramilitary was priced at AU$430 with todays exchange rate thats US$388. Ridiculous! My RC-3 came from Knifeworks, which I found through the RAT Cutlery website links for retailers shipping internationally. I'd definitely buy from them again when the time and the funds come around.

I do most of my gear purchases online much better value, and because we don't always have opportunities to handle te gear, online forum boards like this are great, alot of my gear purchases rely on user feed back and pics.

Wow $430 for a para? I wonder if anyone has ever bought one? I just recently got an Izula and RC-3 from knife works. The good thing about living here is I can easily convince people I'm saving money buy buying multiple knives to save on shipping :D

More than a couple of Aussies here it seems ....:eek:

I buy all my gear online from the US, just too bloody expensive shopping retail down here.

An RC 6 is next on my list.

Andy
