For sale is a used ROCKSTEAD SHU which I photographed and described at length here. I purchased it from BladeHQ several years ago and have used it for everyday tasks including cutting cardboard which resulted in what I would describe as surface scratches which mostly maintain its mirror polish. According to the Rockstead website this knife will no longer be under warranty the second you buy it as the warranty only covers the initial buyer and because I have disassembled it for maintenance. I registered it through the company’s website and posted pictures of it taken apart on this website so there is probably no way around the warranty conditions were you tempted to try. Using the knife to shallowly score a shelf for drilling I took a chip off the tip-no more than a millimeter but probably less. I sharpened it beginning with progressively finer grits of sandpaper and then stropped it and restored the tip. One of the three body screws has apparently begun to strip (if interested, I can take a picture). The knife comes with its full packaging including the microfiber cloth and the insert for using it without a pocket clip. These flaws aside, this is a beautiful and functional knife which I am offering at the very low price of $900.00 to anyone within the continental, US payable via PayPal Goods and Services only. No trades.
