Rockstead vs Shirogorov

Ok I did it, ordered a Shirogorov Neon Zero! My first Shirogorov ever. I got it from rusblade.com, hopefully it will arrive sometime in 2021.
Just a heads up, RusBlade.com is legit but have a huge markup. Not that it’s a bad buy, just keep it in mind.

I have experience with neither, but when I am ready to dip into that price range, it would 100% be Rockstead.

Yes. I'll also make a profit off it as well, since these gun nuts are going crazy paying for guns now. Although after doing more research on the Rockstead and listening to advice from this thread, I don't think I will get one of those. Seems way too impractical.

I've never handled a Rockstead, and while they're surely top quality, they've never really appealed to me. Shiro all the way for this guy. Mine all get carried and used--including my Russian Dr Death--and three are regular work knives.

Now you can take that leftover $ and buy another Shiro  though you'd do well to look on the secondary market and avoid over-priced, non-authorized dealers.

Any knives from either of those companies is well beyond my price range. However, the Rockstead is so pretty and shiny, I would never use it in case it got scratched. However, I've never seen pictures of one that was scratched so that tells me that either they are so hard they never suffer marks, or that no one ever uses them.
