Rockwell Tester

Absolutely but be sure you get the diamond indenter for Rockwell C scale testing. I have had as many as three of these type testers, sold one off, and still have two. Buying them new can be very expensive. Last I looked, several years ago, as much as about $1500 USD. Ebay is where I bought mine. This type tester is what I use with confidence. It is very important you also get at least one good standard block to test and calibrate your tester against. These too can be found on Ebay and the such.
