Hi all took a couple hikes last week. We did a stop in colorado and a stop on washington. Thought I'd post some pix.
Colorado hike:

Mt Pilchuck:

We hadn't expected snow and my wife was wearing Keens. the last 2 miles was snow so she froze her toes, but said it was worth it to get to the top.

My son (3 yrs old) made the entire climb up and slid down in the snow, but after we got past the snow he needed to be carried. I couldn't believe he went that far. it's about 6 miles round trip. I'd guess he did about 4.5 miles before complaining.
hope you enjoy!

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

So was Trail Ridge Road wide open when you were in RMNP and did you make the drive over?

Great pics. I live here, and get there far too infrequently.

Nice pics. I worked as a ranger at RMNP in 2004. Been to the top of most of the peaks in your pics.

We went about 2/3rd the way up trail ridge and decided it was far enough. we were ready for dinner.
We'll be moving to ther area in 6 months or so. out there house hunting.
