Rocky S2V 12.5 Wide (Desert Tan)

I was at SHOT 2007 when the S2V came out and we were blown away at the Rocky booth by them. I never bought a pair until a few years ago when a pair of NOS showed up on website for sale, at a price I couldn't pass up. I'm a 11.5 Wide but usually wear 12 Wide also, so I didn't figure another half size would matter. I could never wear these however as I have not only a wide foot, but a high instep and its SO hard to get them on I can't enjoy them. Once on, the bottom of the tongue aggravates my high instep. I threw them in a closet and hoped that someday I'd "make them" work. Fast forward to last year I had lost some weight and got them out and tried them again. I still can't hardly get them on over my instep and fat foot. I let a friend try them and he wore them inside only for over a month and they didn't work for him (too big in his case). Note that these do not have the "Airport" footbeds-I used them in some duty boots but have a decent gel insole in them. Again-full disclosure-they were new but several years old when I got them, then they sat unused for several years, then I and a friend tried them (only inside though) and now they are for sale again. The dates on them are 2012 but as the pictures show they are very pristine. These are the desert tan, not the darker coyote color.

Hmmm... Don't know. It seems pretty stretchy. I have a couple of buddies that have AKs but it'll be at least a few days until I can try it with one of their mags.
