Rocky Stalking Sneaker Boots

I have a question....about Cabelas Sneaker Boots...the price seems right and I have heard good things about the quality and such. My question is, how is the traction on these boots? I realize they're not going to grab like a lug sole. But are they totally slippery like a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse would be for hiking? Thanks for your help.

Ric,
Do you have or have you had a pair of moccasins from Mountainpeoplefootwear? If so, how did they perform? I'm thinking about getting the frontier style boot.

Jeff,

I have several pair and they are all great mocs. I have a pair of the Navajo (my first from MPFW) a knee high pair of the Frontier wool lined and a pair of the Tall Cree. The Tall Cree turned out to be a little small for me so my girlfriend inherited them. Charlie at MPFW didn't make them for me he just had them on a shelf already made so I bought them. When I water proofed them they shrunk a bit. The Navajo & the Frontier he made for me and they fit perfect, never had a problem with them. If you get a pair let me know what you think. I used to ware my Navajo every place, out in the woods and in town, to work, the mall you name it. If you get the double sole he does it in a way that will allow them to be resoled when you wear through. He does good work. I stalked my first beaver in my Navajos, up to 3' before he saw me.
