Rodent 9 "Coming Soon"

I am sure the one's the Scrapyard store has in stock will work for the R9 and they appear to be available

I wonder how soon is soon, I am hoping Thanksgiving/Christmas soon (or at least still available by then); between the Rucki and the B10 it's gonna take a while to recharge my "batteries." :D

Are there tracking numbers they send out or after getting charged is it more of surprise? This is my first Ganza purchase btw... very excited.

Mine is paid for, Lexi told me they are processing them and trying to get them out asap, she said tracking numbers will go out when they ship

Good to know, thanks! Mine was charged a week or two ago, can't wait.

The Rodent 9 is available for sale . . . almost. It's currently being advertised on the main Swamp Rat web site (swampratknives.com). But the link to the store doesn't work. I wonder how long that will take to fix. And I still don't know if the Rodent 9 is through-hardened or diff-hardened. Does anyone?

.

Sounds like there aren't any plans for any other color options. I'd like to see some options as well.

Does anyone have any experience with this "ultra saber convex" grind?

Also, for those of you already got yours, is the blade .2'' or 1/4'' thick? i think the specs on here said .2 but the site says 1/4''.

Someone will strip one down to the bare metal before too much longer, and then we'll know for sure :)

Definitely... I'm still holding out hope that there will more color options at some point as well. To be honest, the black canvas looks kind of crummy compared to the models they showed at blade :(

I'll join the chorus. I won't buy one either until I know whether it's DH or TH.

What is it about specs and Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrap Yard knives? Seems as if the Wauseon crew have been making knives long enough to be able to publish complete specs when they release them. But that rarely happens. Let's see how difficult it would be to come up with a complete spec list. I'll go first:

Blade Length:
OAL:
Steel:
Hardness:
Thickness:
Handles:
Blade Width:
Grind:
Hardening Method:
Weight:

Did I miss anything important?

the MOST important... "colors available" ;)

Edit: i think all of that info was actually available somewhere, at some point, cuz I know I saw it, but I cannot remember where it was...
