Hi;

I just ordered the Rodent 9 by Swamprat - their site is down so it is listed in the Scrapyard site!

$198.95 I'll add the stats soon.

Its 9.5 inches of SR101 and looks GREAT!

The Rodent 9 is the first of the Rodent '11 Series to be offered. Featuring a 9 1/2" long blade of SR-101 steel with our new and exclusive Ultra Convex Bevel the Rodent 9 has proven to be a very effective chopper and all around great camp knife. Our new Ultra Convex Bevel delivers the toughness and strength benefits of a convex grind coupled with the overall superior cutting geometry of a near full-height flat grind. Our Ultra Convex bevel is a mere 1 degree off flat, CNC bevel, that rises to within less than 5/16" from the spine. Killer strength combined with superior cutting geometry is what the new Ultra Convex bevel is all about. I just finished ordering one; I liked it from the first time I picked up the demo model at Blade! :thumbup::D:thumbup:

I'm excited about the design of this knife. Nice price too. I was hoping for black crinkle with black paper or sage with black canvas. Black crinkle with black canvas is good too. It's the color of my most used Busses. :)

I managed to snag one. :D Su-weet looking blade, that's for sure. It should fulfill the choppa role quite nicely. :thumbup:

It must be Karma - when I first created a username in the Bussecombat forum I used the name Rodent9 - I later changed it to show Drodent.
